Well, if you dont have any linux experiance, try running fedora core, its easy to use, you will have no problems at installing, with that "anaconda-installer", you dont have to install any kde or so, it comes with kde... you will like it, and then when you feel ready, install something better, i would recommend Debian, just download the CD1 iso, it will install the base system... for debian, i can say its easy to maintain, secure, raliable, you will like it...
About slackware.. well i dont like that destro at all, i dont like the package system, ive seen many people say that its hard, its maybe becouse they are used to knppix, or someother user-friendly distro...
So imo get debian... =P |
