theres another reason why Ive voted for kapersky and not for the others. Kapersky run his agent as system and the service cannot be stopped with a simple net stop. It's the only AV in this list which do this.

Kaspersky for sure, takes not many cpu usage, and for me it finds loads of spybots wich are very dangerous at the moment, because of the many flaws in windows os.

cheers , I always love free stuff for personal use and it is the only one I dont feel any antivirus activity ( cause it doesnt eat cpu , memory etc .. )

Mcafee 10 and PC-Cillin

Those are the best for my opinion...
But my opinion does not count...

kav is the one and only i think its one of the best.

sophos isnt bad too but kav rocks

I use clamav /w my mail server at home but don't really run a AV since I'm using linux. At work we use avast. I really like the ability to push out updates.

"Antivir" and "NOD 32",,, I think nod 32 is the most powerful

however i'll vote for Kaspersky in this case

I use nod32, very nice virusscanner, updates like 3 times a day (without notice, it just says when its done) and automatically scans all e-mails coming in through mozilla thunderbird... ánd its very light on system usage.

KAV is hard one to fool

catches tools like no other!!!

best in my opinion

i used Kaspersky in my windows time...

Nopw i´m running Gentoo and don´t need an AV
