| I use symantec at the moment but I definately don't think it's the best. There are a lot of things that it doesn't detect that a lot of other antivirus software detects. Kaspersky detects a lot of stuff but it seems like a memory hog at times. but I dl the trial of kaspersky to use when I think my pc's are infected with something symantec doesn't catch. It almost always finds way more than symantec. |

| Kaspersky, it doesn't detect everything in the wild but a lot. Compared to other AV's it's way above average. symantec, once you mod something it gets through.. :roll: I have never tried sophos so I can't really judge about it. Why did you only limit it to 3 AV's when there are a lot more? |
| ||||
| Why those 3 ? because Im sure they are the bests on the market yet, symantec detects many things but its too easy to mod the binary to make it undetectable, sophos detects a lot of virus and they have harder signatures to tricks, kaspersky because I did notice that they share their db with fsecure etc, I think many db are based on the kaspersky work... the others bullgard, bullshit, bitdefender, it sounds gey and I don't think really they bit those 3. Maybe Im wrong but I doubt else explain in what bitdefender, tegam,mcafee,etc consultants are never nor rarely in the news ? |
