Hello guys, i wanted to ask if DFind is available for Linux too, since Linux does not execute *.*exe files.

yeah the exe is win32/linux portable , lol no I'm joking, since there is a lot of request for it on linux , I will prolly start this year working to update it for linux, because the main prob I had until now , I had a crap computer and wasn't able to run a linux distribution where to test it etc , my noobism at linux so etc , and to the oppsosite Im working now on things wich pay me so a bit normal that I have left the free time work hehe, this alienware computer was extremely expensive , I should caught now some $$ ;)

You really should make it Open Source. And well i doubt that you can make alot $$ if you release it for Linux since you have to give out the source and its gonna be spreaded all over the net within some days...

I don't mean making money with it but with vulnerability research, else yep why not , I can plane to make it open source, I had made a forum poll about this but there was not many participation on it so..

Well i would appreciate it if it was Open Source because then everyone can help you to fix bugs when they find some... etc. and people can compile it on linux too then.

nah I dont think I can make a lot from dfind, it helped me out at least to have some contacts for a possible security job but about to sell it I dont think , they should buy me then , not only my scanner hehe.

u need to make it a test program, and offer more stuff on it then it can b best seller :wink:

if my company was taged by someone i wouled like my administrator to buy everything he can so it wont happend agian and the *censored**censored**censored**censored*er shouled test his net at list once a month
