Hi,
I seen some reports of power point format (.ppt) vulnerability in this forum discovered by class101. :)
I'm a big curious how this kind of flaw is found. Can you give details? For example, what do you use? Interactive disassembler for analyze the load process of a powerpoint format for example? A file fuzzer (a public or wrote by yourself?)? A Binary security analyzer (like binaudit) ? Give more details please, I'm sure thta many members have this doubt too... heheh ;)
And when a anomaly happen (for example a application crash), what stepts do you costume to do to locate where is the problem, in what part of the power point format, identify if it's exploitable, etc... ? :)
thnak you and sorry for a n00b question...
Regards
